Terms & Conditions

Effective and last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of Aeolian, operated by Kelvin Wong. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy. By using Aeolian, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to kaiwey6160@gmail.com.

The service

Aeolian provides tools for teachers to manage students, lessons, attendance, prepaid classes, payments, expenses, and invoices. Available features may change. Aeolian is not an accounting, legal, tax, or payment-processing service; you remain responsible for checking your records and meeting your obligations.

Your account and records

Provide accurate account details, protect your credentials, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Use the service only if you can enter into these terms. You are responsible for activity under your account and for having permission to enter, use, and share information about students or parents, including any required permission for children’s information.

You retain ownership of your records. You allow Aeolian and its service providers to store and process them only as needed to provide and protect the service, perform your requested actions, and meet applicable legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use Aeolian unlawfully, upload information you have no right to use, access another person’s records, interfere with the service, evade security controls, or use the service to send abuse or spam. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address security risks, misuse, or legal obligations.

Connected services

Google Calendar and Zoho Invoice are optional third-party services subject to their own terms. Connecting them authorizes the actions described in the connection flow. Their availability, permissions, and API limits can affect syncing.

Aeolian controls its managed Google Calendar lesson copies. Editing a copy in Google does not change Aeolian and may be overwritten by reconciliation. Disconnecting or resetting Aeolian leaves Google Calendar copies and remote Zoho records in those services. You are responsible for managing those remote copies and checking invoice recipients, amounts, and shared files.

Attendance and class balances

Review the class-token preview before confirming attendance. Under the current accounting policy, completing a lesson or marking it absent or cancelled without replacement entitlement consumes one class. Historical lessons retain their previous accounting until an explicit decision applies the new policy. Aeolian’s balance tools record your decisions; they do not determine the cancellation or refund terms agreed between you and your students.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep Aeolian useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free calculations, or immediate third-party synchronization. Keep exports or other copies of important records and verify consequential financial and scheduling decisions.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for indirect losses resulting from outages, incorrect information you enter, or third-party failures. These terms do not exclude responsibility or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Stopping use, deletion, and changes

You may stop using Aeolian at any time. Export information you need before deleting records or resetting your studio. Resetting studio data does not delete your sign-in account; contact us for account deletion assistance. We may modify or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable, except when urgent security or legal action is required.

Updated terms will show a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the service or your account contact where appropriate. Contact Kelvin Wong at kaiwey6160@gmail.com about these terms or a concern with the service.
